Fighting Saints assistant coach and Director of Scouting Bobby Kinsella has accepted a job with the Montreal Canadiens as an amateur scout beginning with next season. Kinsella, who will be based out of Chicago, will spend plenty of time in his old stomping grounds, spending much of his efforts scouting the USHL for top amateur talent for hockey’s most-storied franchise.

“Working in Dubuque and in the USHL has allowed me to gain experience scouting elite players,” said Kinsella. “I’m looking forward to taking this experience with me as I move on to the challenges that await me in the NHL."
